UCIELEŚNIENIA to nie tylko seria autoportretów. To również proces auto-arteterapii. Projekt, który powstawał na przełomie trzech lat, stał się fizyczną manifestacją trzech etapów mojego procesu uzdrawiania. C.G. Jung nazywa taki proces “podróżą w brzuchu wieloryba”, “wyprawą przez mroczne podziemia”, czy “ciemną nocą duszy”. Jednak z perspektywy, mimo, że był to czas niezwykle bolesny, okazał się jednym z najbardziej rozwojowych w moim życiu. Nauczyłam się wtedy, że w uleczaniu traumy nie ma drogi na skróty.

STAJESZ SIĘ TYM CO MYŚLISZ (2010)

Ponieważ temat cienia, który wtedy eksplorowałam wymagał dotarcia maksymalnie blisko prawdy o sobie, szukałam formy artystycznej, która pozwoliłaby mi połączyć przedmiot, podmiot i akt tworzenia w jedność. Wtedy zdecydowałam się na użycie mojego ciała jako płótna.

W praktyce wyglądało to tak, że zamknęłam się w ciemnym studio fotograficznym, z rzutnikiem i dużym lustrem, które postawiłam przed sobą. Następnie na swoje ciało raz za razem projektowałam wcześniej przygotowane, symboliczne obrazy moich myśli i emocji, konfrontując się z nimi i wchodząc w spontaniczną relację. W ten sposób doświadczyłam strachu, bólu, rozpaczy, żalu, bezradności, pustki. Nadając im konkretny kształt, poczułam, że mogę je oswoić. Sesja zdjęciowa trwała 7 godzin i była bardzo wyzwalająca. Poprzez użycie technik “metody aktorskiej”, którą studiowałam w Paryżu oraz psychomagii* poddałam się w tym projekcie procesowi wewnętrznego oczyszczenia i wyzwolenia. Tytuł projektu to słowa Buddy.

*Psychomagia - praktyka terapeutyczna stosowana przez Alejandro Jodorowsky'ego, łącząca sztukę, filozofię Wschodu, mistycyzm i współczesną psychoterapię w leczeniu pacjentów z problemami emocjonalnymi.

PRAWDZIWY ARTYSTA TO DZIEŁO SZTUKI (2011)

Prawdziwy artysta to arcydzieło to seria wielkoformatowych autoportretów inspirowanych jednym z punktów mojego Manifestu Artystycznego z 2007 roku. Użyłam w nich prac ulubionych artystów, które stały się symbolicznym amuletem i fetyszem jakim był filc dla Josepha Beuysa. W ten sposób stały się aktem symbolicznego uleczania. Jak mawiał Alejandro Jodorowski: „Akt symboliczny dla podświadomości staje się faktem realnym.”

PRZESZŁOŚĆ NIE MA WŁADZY NAD TERAZ (2012)

Instalacja wideo PRZESZŁOŚĆ NIE MA WŁADZY NAD TERAZ była podróżą poza ego. Podczas wielogodzinnej medytacji w rytm tybetańskich mantr wyświetlałam na swoim ciele cztery żywioły natury, łącząc je z czterema żywiołami ludzkimi, tymi pojawianymi się na tybetańskich, hinduskich, indyjskich tankach oraz w tarocie. Moim celem była ich integracja: Woda - emocje, Ogień - seksualność, Powietrze - intelekt, Ziemia - fizyczność.

Dostając się na wyższy poziom świadomości, pragnęłam doświadczyć Jedni.

EMBODIMENTS is not only a series of self-portraits. It is also a process of self-art therapy. The project, which was created over the course of three years, and became a physical manifestation of three stages of my healing process. C.G. Jung calls it “entering the belly of the whale”, “a journey through the underworld” or” the dark night of the soul”. However, from perspective, even though it was an extremely painful time, it turned out to be one of the most developmental moment in my life. I learned then, that there are no shortcuts in healing trauma.

WHAT YOU THINK, YOU BECOME (2010)

Because the topic of the shadow that I was exploring at that time required getting as close to the truth about myself as possible, I was looking for an artistic form that would allow me to combine the object, the subject and the act of creation into one. That's when I decided to use my body as a canvas. In practice, it looked like this: I locked myself in a dark photo studio for 7 hours, with a projector and a large mirror, which I placed in front of me. Then, I projected previously prepared, symbolic images of my thoughts and emotions onto my body, confronting them and entering into a spontaneous relationship. In this way, I could physically see my fear, pain, despair, regret, helplessness and emptiness. By giving them a specific shape, I felt I could tame them. By using the method acting techniques that I studied in Paris and psychomagic*, I underwent a process of internal cleansing and liberation. The title of the project is the words of Buddha.

*Psychomagic - a therapeutic practice used by Alejandro Jodorowsky, that combines art, Eastern philosophies, mysticism and modern psychotherapy to heal patients with emotional problems.

A TRUE ARTIST IS A REAL MASTERPIECE (2011)

„A true artist is a real masterpiece“ is a series of large format self-portraits inspired by a sentence from the Artistic Manifesto I have co-written for Studio Utopia. Projecting artworks on my body and interacting with them was for me an act of symbolic empowerment.

THE PAST HAS NO POWER OVER NOW (2012)

A video installation “The past has no power over now” was realized as a third part of the series „Embodiments”, and in a natural way continued my self-documentation of the healing process. Digging deep beyond ego, I tried to get to impersonal levels of consciousness, where I became a part of oneness. During several hour long meditation I projected on my body videos representing four elements of nature, and attributed them with four human elements, (those appearing on Tibetan, Hindu, and Indian thankas as well as in tarot), and let them merge together in the process of compliance.
